Pitch Definitions

Pitch graphics use roles (defender, midfielder, forward) and thirds, not coordinates: the API gives no positions on the pitch. Forfeits and ghost rows (0 seconds or rating 3.00) are excluded. Event based numbers use league matches only.

Errors /90 = (passes failed + possessions lost in any third) per 90 minutes of the players in that line. Passes failed = attempted minus completed (API)
Line colour = relative between the three lines of the same selection, so one line is always the worst. Compare the numbers, not only the colours
Dots = each player sits in the line where he played most minutes; colour is Impact v4 (5 or less red, 6 amber, 7 or more green), size is minutes
Thirds = possession won and lost in the defensive, middle and attacking third, per match. The opponent is mapped onto our pitch, so their defensive third is our attacking third. Net = won minus lost
Shots = on target plus off target, split inside and outside the box. On target % = on target / shots. Conversion = goals / all shots, because goals have no zone tag
Positions = one cell per player and role: Impact (minutes weighted), pass accuracy (completed / attempted, API) or possession lost per 90. Cells under 3 matches are greyed
Out of position = out of position events per 90 with severity 1 (mild) to 5 (extreme), as recorded by EA; the lines are coloured relatively
Match pitch = our players of one match by role, with Impact, goals, pass accuracy and possessions lost (L)
